Hi,
I need a quote for a stainless steel pressure vessel (4140 should do the trick). 1.5 inch inside diameter, 6 inches in length overall and 8mm thickness with a fine thread of approx 1.5mm (negotiable) depth on the outside that covers 1 inch with an end cap to match. The tolerance of the thread is crucial. As I stated this is a pressure vessel and it will need to hold in excess of 1100 PSI and must NOT leak. I would prefer someone who has experience with pressure vessels but i would feel comfortable with an experienced machinist that feels competent. I am currently in Australia and would prefer to have the job done in Australia to save on shipping costs but this is not a prerequisite.
Please include the cost of material and shipping in your quote. This item is to be shipped to Russell Island QLD Australia 4184.
