These look really helpful!

I would point out that dial calipers should not be considered acurate closer than .005" and that a good tenths indicating Mic is accurate to within .0001". Of course that depends on the skill of the user...

I would point out that dial calipers should not be considered acurate closer than .005" and that a good tenths indicating Mic is accurate to within .0001". Of course that depends on the skill of the user...

Calipers to +/- .005....if used AT ALL......I just don't trust them.

Digital or Verneer mics to +/- .0005

Indicating mics +/- .0001 (if you set them up right, these are pretty foolproof)
